Half Moon Cay just got a more relaxed way to spend your beach day. Passengers sailing on Nieuw Statendam were the first guests to try Holland America Line’s new Beach Club at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, with the ship’s captain and cruise director leading a toast to mark the opening.
The Beach Club gives you a reserved corner of the island, with an exclusive stretch of beach marked by orange and white umbrellas and its own dining terrace. It is priced at $125 per person for the day, and that covers priority tendering to get you ashore sooner, dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, beach accessories, and specialty food and beverage offerings. You can also order from the island’s food options, including the Lobster Shack menu, right at the Beach Club.
The upgrades go beyond the Beach Club itself. Elsewhere on the island you will find a new food pavilion, upgraded cabanas, more daybeds and beach seating, renovated bars, and four pickleball courts — so there is plenty to enjoy whether you booked the Beach Club or are simply spending the day ashore.
