If you love sailing from the East Coast, Baltimore is about to get even more interesting. Carnival Cruise Line has opened bookings for its 2028–29 season from Baltimore, with two ships — Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Miracle — sailing to 22 destinations across The Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada and the Caribbean.

Carnival Luminosa will make her Baltimore debut in November 2028 and stay through April 2029, offering seven- to 14-day itineraries. Shorter week-long sailings focus on The Bahamas, with calls that include Celebration Key in Grand Bahama, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Amber Cove, while nine-day cruises head to the Eastern Caribbean. For travelers with more time, 12- and 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages venture deep into the Southern Caribbean, visiting ports such as Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

Carnival Miracle’s season runs a little longer, from September 2028 through April 2029. Her schedule mixes six- to eight-day Bahamas and Bermuda cruises with nine-day Eastern Caribbean sailings to Amber Cove, San Juan and St. Maarten or St. Thomas. Miracle will also offer eight Carnival Journeys voyages of 12 to 14 days to the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, plus two eight-day Canada/New England cruises in September 2028 calling on Portland, Maine; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint John, New Brunswick.

This marks Carnival’s second two-ship season in Baltimore, following the 2027–28 season, when two ships will homeport there for the first time. With bookings already open for 2028–29, early planners have first pick of ships, itineraries and staterooms.
