Luxury travelers who like to plan well ahead have a new Caribbean option to consider. Aman at Sea is extending the inaugural Caribbean season for its yacht Amangati into winter 2028, adding 12 additional cruises of five to eight nights on top of the autumn 2027 sailings announced in June.
The autumn 2027 program is built around three routes — Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, and Dutch Caribbean — with select sailings continuing through the festive season. For winter 2028, the line is expanding westward with a new Greater Antilles focus, including first calls in the Dominican Republic alongside Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Grenadines. The Greater Antilles sailings head west in January from Philipsburg and the British Virgin Islands toward Hispaniola, while Windward Islands voyages sail from Saint John’s and Bridgetown and include Saint-Pierre in Martinique, Marie-Galante, and Bequia in the Grenadines.
Returning favorites are woven through the season as well, with calls at Portsmouth in Dominica, Soufriere beneath the Pitons, Anse d’Arlet in Martinique, and Canouan in the Grenadines, plus Leeward Islands sailings tracing the northern arc and Dutch Caribbean voyages returning to the ABC islands from Bridgetown and Oranjestad. Before the Caribbean season, four Mediterranean voyages of six to eight nights are also open for reservation — Aegean Treasures from October 10-18, Italian Flavours from October 18-24, Coastal Highlights from October 24 to November 1, and Western Mediterranean from November 1-8.
The two seasons are linked by ocean crossings: a 13-night Atlantic Passage from Malaga to Antigua to bring Amangati to the Caribbean, and an 11-night eastbound return departing Saint John’s on March 20, 2028, via Philipsburg and Gustavia, arriving in Funchal, Madeira on March 31, 2028. On board, a highlight noted for the ship is its Marina, stocked with paddleboards, kayaks, and other water-based equipment for days in port.
